Terms

Draft. This hasn't been reviewed by a lawyer yet, and the parts in [brackets] still need filling in.

Using arcade.fun

arcade.fun is a free arcade of browser games played with your voice, hands and face, run by [company name]. By using it you agree to these terms and to the community guidelines.

Some games flash or move quickly. If you are sensitive to flashing lights, take care, and set Game speed to Relaxed.

Age

Anyone can play. You must be 13 or older to submit a run, upload a game or create an account.

What you send us

When you submit a run or upload a game, you keep ownership of it. You give [company name] a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, review, show and share it on arcade.fun and in promoting arcade.fun. This license ends when you delete it, except for copies we must keep by law.

You confirm that:

Leaderboards

A score appears only after a person has reviewed its video. We decide whether a run is verified, and we may remove scores that break the rules or look edited, including after they've been verified.

Leaderboards are for fun: there are no prizes unless a specific event says otherwise.

Community games

Games made by players run in a locked-down sandbox: they can't reach the internet, your data or the rest of the page. We review them before they go live, but we don't guarantee them. Please report anything that seems wrong.

Removing content and accounts

We may remove anything, or suspend accounts, that break these terms or the guidelines. If you think we got it wrong, write to [contact email].

Copyright complaints

If something on arcade.fun infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent: [DMCA agent name, address, email].

Our games

arcade.fun's own games, art and code belong to [company name], except third-party software used under its own licenses (such as MediaPipe, under the Apache License 2.0).

No warranty

arcade.fun is provided as it is. We don't promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using it.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date below shows when. Last updated: [date]. Questions: [contact email].
